The 29-year-old defenseman would, however, like to stay in Langenthal and is currently in talks with the Swiss League team: «I always liked it here. Also, we have a very good team.»
As of now, it is, however, not yet clear if he will be able to stay with Langenthal. Pienitz is currently in his fifth season with SCL. In 31 games for them this season, he has recorded three goals and six assists.
