The 35-year-old US-American will not be able to play again this season due to his concussion issues. Vesce was hit to the head by Cyril Oehen during the game between EHC Olten and EVZ Academy on October 17.
Vesce has been out due to a concussion ever since. He was in a special clinic in Phoenix last year to treat his symptoms and returned to Switzerland at the beginning of the year. While he made some progress, he will not be able to play again this season.
As Kuchta further writes in the Aargauer Zeitung, EHC Olten will now hit the market in order to find a third import player for the playoffs.
