All three are currently at the end of their contract. Küng is in his first season with the Lions and has put up 14 points (two goals) in 41 games. Schnyder, too, is in his first year with the Swiss League team. In 17 games, the former EHC Olten defender put up four assists. Wollgast, for his part, is in his second season with the Lions (ten points in 28 games).

They are not the only ones at the end of their contracts, though. The deals of the defensemen Alain Bahar, Sami El Assaoui, Yannick Hänggi as well as the forwards Cam Braes, Adrian Brunner, Jaedon Descheneau, and Gianluca Zanzi are all set to expire come April. Also, Thurgau has to negotiate new deals with head coach Stephan Mair and his assistant Benjamin Winkler.
