Zanzi, 21, joined Thurgau to replace the retired Daniel Steiner. He mostly played for EHC Wil in the Regio League before that, scoring five goals and ten assists in 16 games for them, as well as two goals in two games for the Lakers. Since joining Thurgau, he has been kept off the scoreboard.

The forward spent his junior years with HC Lugano and made his National League-debut with the Bianconeri in the 2024-2015 season.
