Swiss League

Jaedon Descheneau and Cameron Braes (photo) are both currently playing for HC Thurgau, but are only signed until the end of the season. They have not yet decided where they will be playing next season.

Descheneau has 18 goals and 31 assists in 39 games, while Braes has 24 goals and 21 assists in 43 games so far. They are a reason for Thurgau's current success. Both are trying to showcase their skills to earn the best possible contracts for next year. Staying in Europe is high on their wish list.

Thurgau's manager Patrick Bloch is expecting to face competition from teams from the Swiss League and the DEL in order to sign the two players but says they would only go as high as it still makes sense for them.

For now, the two Canadian forwards want to keep their focus on HCT. Also, HC Davos has acquired their B-licenses, they might thus get the chance to play in the National League.
