After one season with EHC Brandis, defenseman Joël Scheidegger makes use of his out-clause and returns to the Swiss League's SC Langenthal.

"I'm looking forward to this return," the 22-year-old said, confirming the deal to desktopstories.ch. "This is, of course, a great chance for my career." With Langenthal, Scheidegger has signed a one-year contract. He has already played eleven games in the Swiss League this season, five of them for SC Langenthal. During the playoffs, he also suited up six times for HC Thurgau until their journey ended in the quarterfinals against EHC Olten.

For EHC Brandis in the Regio League, Joël Scheidegger put up 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) in 31 games.
