The contracts of Yannik Wildhaber, Pierrick Pivron, Patrick Schommer, and Michael Trüssel will not be extended by the Swiss League club. Claudio Cadonau (SCL Tigers), Aurélien Marti (SC Bern), Mike Völlmin (Genève-Servette HC), and Jeffrey Füglister (EHC Kloten) will leave the club in direction of the National League.
Langenthal will, however, be able to count on a new goaltender. Philip Wüthirich has signed a one-year contract with the Swiss League team. The 20-year-old is a product of SC Bern's organization and played for their Elite A team this season, posting a 2.57 GAA in 31 regular season games.
