Joël Aebi is a product of SC Bern's youth organization. For three years, from 2014 until 2017, he was part of SCB's NLA team, but only played two games. Last season, he played on loan with EHC Visp and joined the Swiss League team this season on a full contract. Now he joins HC Ajoie in order to gain more experience.

Fabio Arnold, on the other hand, joins HC Ajoie from EVZ Academy, for which he played for the past two seasons. Over the course of these two seasons, the 22-year-old also appeared in 13 games for EV Zug in the National League (no points). For their Academy, he put up 20 points (11 goals, 9 assists) in 44 games this season.
