Tobler started the season as goaltender coach for the Swiss League-team. He was named assistant coach on February 4 after Chris Bartolone replaced former head coach Bengt-Åke Gustafsson.
Olten's coaching staff is completed by athletics coach Thaddäus Schnider. The 32-year-old used to suit up for Olten from 2011 to 2015, playing 136 games for them.
