It was not an easy decision for the club to make since they received a lot of positive feedback for the last three editions, especially from the guest teams. Over the years, it featured teams from the DEL like the Straubing Tigers, the Grizzlys Wolfsburg and the Augsburger Panther, as well as various Swiss teams.
If the tournament will be back again in the future is yet to be determined.
