The 31-year-old defenseman has decided to extend his contract with Kloten. His original deal would have kept him in Kloten until 2019. Now, he will stay with the Swiss League team until the end of the 2021-22 season.

Kellenberger is a product of EHC Kloten. Apart from a short stint with EHC Biel, the defenseman has only ever played for them during his career. This past season, he recorded six goals and eleven assists in 62 games.
