Brunner joined Kloten in 2015 from the ZSC Lions' organization. Last season, he made his Swiss League debut for EHC Winterthur as well as his National League debut. However, he mostly played for Kloten's U20 team, recording ten goals and 26 assists in 39 games for them. He has agreed to a one-year deal.

Romano Lemm, for his part, has decided to stay with Kloten. He has signed a one-year contract with the recently relegated team. The same applies to defenseman Edson Harlacher. He, too, will stay in Kloten for another season.
