As anticipated by the Tages-Anzeiger, Patrick Obrist and Jeffrey Füglister will be part of EHC Kloten's team for the 2018-19 season.

25-year-old Obrist will stay with Kloten for another season. The Austrian with a Swiss players' license has been part of their organization since 2015. Last season, he recorded three goals and six assists in 58 games.

Füglister, for his part, was set to join EHC Kloten from SC Langenthal this season. When he signed his original contract, he, of course, assumed he would be playing in the National League. However, in spite of the team's relegation, he has decided to play for Kloten in the 2018-19 season. He, too, has signed a one-year contract.
