Steiner spent his junior years in Kloten's organization and made his National League-debut for them in the 2009-2010 season. The 26-year-old was with them until 2013 before joining the SCL Tigers (they were in the NLB that season) and then one year later EHC Biel. Now, after four years with Biel, he rejoins his youth team on a two-year contract.

The defenseman has played a total of 299 games in Switzerland's top league, recording seven goals and 18 assists.

As for Immonen, the 51-year-old Finn was assistant coach for EV Zug the last ten years but was released at the end of this past season. He now joins the staff of Kloten's head coach André Rötheli for one year.
