Forward Vladislav Zorin will probably not be back with the HCB Ticino Rockets next season. Moreover, the team is expecting four players from HC Davos.

Zorin's contract with the Swiss League team ran out at the end of the past season. As coach Jan Cadieux (photo) tells Ticinonline, the 23-year-old Russian with a Swiss license is currently in Russia trying to earn himself a contract in a training camp. "He received the chance to showcase himself, he has taken it, then we'll see," Cadieux says. He will also not be able to count on Loic Vedova for now. "He has signed in Lugano, he trains with the Bianconeri."

On another note, the Rockets are waiting for their partnerteams to announce the players that they will send to Biasca as reinforcements. In addition to HC Ambrì-Piotta and HC Lugano, HC Davos will also send young players this season: "In our roster there will be four players from Davos, four from Lugano, and six from Ambrì," Cadieux explains. "We are waiting for the last names from Davos before officially presenting the squad."

What is clear is that there will not be a change in their philosophy to play without any import-players: "For the moment it is planned to continue with our philosophy and thus move along without import-players," Cadieux says to the same source. "We want to make our young people more responsible; we lose a bit of quality, but we force the boys to grow."
