Swiss League

The HCB Ticino Rockets have announced several contract extensions. Furthermore, they will be able to count on players from HC Ambrì-Piotta, HC Lugano, HC Davos, and the GDT Bellinzona.

Defensemen Isacco Dotti and Sacha Tosques, as well as forward Stefano Spinedi have all received contract extensions. Colin Fontana, Aronne Pagnamenta, Andrea Brazzola, and Pascal Taiana, who were all under contract with HC Lugano this past season, now have agreements in place with the Rockets. Also, Stephan Hermkes of the EVZ Academy has signed with the Rockets and will join them as of the 2018-19 season.

As in previous seasons, the Rockets will also receive players via B-license from several teams. Goaltender Christophe Dux, defensemen Lucas Matewa, Sebastien Colomb, and Clarence Kparghai, as well as forwards Loïc Vedova, Timo Demuth, and Marc Camichel from HC Lugano will play on loan with the Swiss League team. Sébastien Reuille has a two-way contract with the Luganesi and will also suit up for the Rockets from time to time.

HC Ambrì-Piotta has also loaned several players to them: Goaltender Connor Hughes, defender Jan Wieszinski, and forwards Giona Bionda, Jason Fritsche, Christopher Smith, Dario Rohrbach, Anthony Neuenschwander, and Joël Neuenschwander.

HC Davos, for their part, has offered the services of defenders Oliver Heinen and Julian Payr, as well as forwards Fadri Riatsch, Lorenzo Glarner, Stefan Spinell, Mischa Bleiker, Nicholas Heini, Benjamin Baumgartner and Gian-Marco Wetter to the Rockets. Peter Biasca and Federico Sartori will join them from Bellinzona.
