Mathias Joggi's contract with EHC Biel expired at the end of this past season and the 32-year-old did not receive an extension. He suited up for the Seelanders since 2013 when he arrived from HC Davos.

The forward scored five goals in 44 appearances with Biel over the course of the 2018-19 season, as well as one goal in one game he played for SC Langenthal in the Swiss League.
