As Jeff Campbell is still dealing with medical issues, the NLB team has decided to extend Karlsson's contract. The deal includes an option for an additional season. The 28-year-old Swede played 39 games for SCL last season, recording 18 goals and 22 assists.

Noël Guyaz will also stay for one more year. He will continue to work as an assistant coach as well as the team manager of SC Langenthal. Furthermore, Marc Eichmann, the former SCL goaltender, will serve as a goaltending coach for the entire organization in the upcoming season.

Langenthal will grant several players the opportunity to showcase their skills in the first on-ice training sessions of the NLB team on August 7.
