The 24-year-old Russian played for the HCB Ticino Rockets last season. It was already clear that he would not return to the Swiss League team in June as he received an invitation to a training camp in Russia. Apparently, this did not work out, though.
Zorin appeared in 41 games for the Rockets last season, recording seven goals and four assists. He also suited up for HC Lugano, putting up one goal in 21 games.
