EHC Kloten's former owner Philippe Gaydoul and the current one, Hans-Ulrich Lehmann, have been able to resolve their dispute, as the Berner Zeitung reports.

The point at issue was a promise Gaydoul made when selling the club to Canadian investors in 2015. In the first two years of their ownership, he would pay one million francs to EHC Kloten. The investors sold the club to Lehmann in 2016 and he still expected the payment. Gaydoul, however, did not see himself as bound to that commitment any longer.

It has now come to be known that the argument was taken to court. The district court of Bülach issued a settlement in spring of this year. Silence is maintained about the sum.
