According to Matthew Vachon, who covers the Victoriaville Tigres for La Nouvelle, Cavalleri has indeed come to terms with Zug's organisation. The same newspaper reported almost two weeks ago that several teams had taken an interest in him.
The forward - somewhat surprisingly - had been cut by the Tigres in training camp. He was slated to play with the QMJHL team for another season. He recorded two goals and three assists in 37 games last season.
