According to information from Eliteprospects, Meili will not return to the ice after playing the last two seasons with Visp in the Swiss League. He missed the final part of the past season due to an undisclosed injury and appeared in only four games over the course of the whole season.
The young netminder started his career in the ZSC/GCK organisation and made his debut in the National League back in the 2011-12 season with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. He went on to play for EHC Kloten and EHC Biel in Switzerland's top league.
