The Lions have agreed to terms with the 30-year-old Canadian forward who will stay with them until the end of the season.

Jared Gomes joins EHC Winterthur as an injury replacement for Tanner Sorenson, who suffered a concussion three weeks ago in the game against the GCK Lions. He will be out indefinitely.

Gomes last played for SC Riessersee, a team in Germany's second tier league. In 48 regular season games, he recorded seven goals and 14 assists. He has been without a team since the end of the 2017-18 season.
