Philip Ahlström renewed his contract until 2021, while Philipp Wetzel renewed until 2020

Philipp Wetzel won a championship with SC Bern in 2003-04.

Ahlström started the season with SC Langenthal, however, after only two games, he joined HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. In ten games so far he put up three assists. Overall, the 23-year-old defenceman played ten games in the NL with HC Lugano (zero points) and 178 in the Swiss League, where he recorded 53 points.

Wetzel joined HC La Chaux-de-Fonds at the beginning of the 2018-19 season after eleven consecutive seasons with EHC Biel. So far, the forward recorded four points in 15 games. Overall, the 33-year-old put up 97 points in 489 NL games and 63 points in 192 games in the Swiss League.
