Due to an alleged check to the head of EV Zug's forward Jesse Zgraggen, the league has provisionally suspended EHC Kloten's defenseman Edson Harlacher for one game. In addition, proceedings have been initiated against the defenseman.

The HCB Ticino Rockets' Jason Fritsche, on the other hand, has been suspended for two games due to an infringement of IIHF Rule 116 (Offense against a referee) during the game against EHC Olten on November 21. The forward also has to pay a fine of CHF 700.-. Fritsche already sat out one game of the two-game suspension.
