The 28-year-old joined Thurgau this summer. Rundqvist had only played in Sweden before the 2017-18 season. In 2017, he then became a member of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.

This season, the Swede appeared in 24 games for the Lions, recording five goals and nine assists. Rundqvist is in possession of a Swiss players' license and does not count against the import player contingent.
