Swiss League

After a report by desktopstories yesterday, the Lions now have confirmed the signing of the defenceman for the next two years.

Joël Scheidegger

Scheidegger was with HC Thurgau at the end of last season, appearing in twelve games for them. Even though there was mutual interest by team and player to continue working together, the forward had already signed with SC Langenthal for the coming term. Now the Lions have announced that the 23-year-old will join them for the next two seasons.

Scheidegger brings the experience of 78 games in the National Leauge B / Swiss League. He spent his junior years with EHC Thun before leaving for SC Bern's elite juniors. In 2015, he joined Langenthal for the first time, but only for one season. Afterwards, he suited up for the HCB Ticino Rockets, GDT Bellinzona in the Regio League, Hockey Huttwil in the MySports League and as already mentioned Langenthal and Thurgau.
