Swiss League

According to Arcinfo, it is almost certain that the 37-year-old is going to join EHC Kloten next season.

Dominic Forget is about to return to Switzerland.

The former forward of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds received his Swiss passport in 2018 and does no longer count against the import-contingent in Switzerland. The native of Canada is currently playing in the Asia League with the Oji Eagles from Tomakomai, Japan.

A return to Switzerland, however, might be possible sooner than next season. Forget might join a Swiss League team for the playoffs if the Oji Eagles are eliminated. His former team, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, is one of the interested teams, Arcinfo writes.

According to the Berner Zeitung, however, there is a lot of competition, as half of the Swiss League seems to be interested in Forget. Also SC Langenthal is in contact with the 37-year-old, team manager Marc Eichmann confirms to the same source.
