Patrick Parati has played for HC Thurgau since 2015 and was appointed as their captain already in his second season. The defenseman would have had an option for another season in his contract, but decided to sign a new two-year deal with the Lions.
Over the course of the current season, Parati has appeared in 35 games for Thurgau, in which he scored one goal and added two assists.
