Both Dario Kummer and Simon Sterchi will not make use of their out-clauses and remain with SC Langenthal team beyond this season.

SCL's Dario Kummer

The two 24-year-old forwards are among the club's most productive Swiss scorers this season. Kummer recorded 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in 34 games, while Sterchi managed to put 26 points (15 goals, 11 assists) in 42 games. Kummer's and Sterchi's contract are set to expire in spring 2021 and 2020, respectively.

In addition, SC Langenthal has signed EV Zug Academy's captain Fabio Kläy to a two-year deal, which is valid as of the 2019-20 season and includes an out-clause for the National League after the first year. The 24-year-old center has recorded four goals and 15 assists in 42 games for the Academy this season so far.

On another note, the club announced some administrative and organizational changes. With Gian Kämpf taking over as Chairman of the Boards of Directors this summer, there will be a vacancy at the position of the general manager. For the future, SC Langenthal will have a team manager over the entire organization (from the first team down to the youth team) as well as a manager of the administrative office.

Peter Zulauf, 53, has been named to lead the administrative office as of the upcoming 2019-20 season. Moreover, the Swiss League club has found a new employee for the marketing and sales department. Fabian Giannelli, 25, will take up his new job on April 1 this year.
