Dan Weisskopf is going to leave Ajoie after this season

Although the option for a contract extension would have been valid until the end of the month, both parties have already decided to not make use of it. "On both sides, we are aware that this season is not going as well as we hoped," Weisskopf says to the Journal du Jura. "There is going to be some work to do for my agent."

The 29-year-old Dan Weisskopf, who has also played twelve games for HC Fribourg-Gottéron this season, has appeared in 31 games for HC Ajoie so far, in which he recorded four assists.
