Kenneth Ryan of HC Thurgau has been suspended for today's crucial game against HC Ajoie due to an unauthorized body attack against Julien Privet. The incident occurred in the 39th minute of the Swiss League playoff game on March 6. At the same time, ordinary proceedings were initiated against Ryan.
Ryan, 27, is playing his first season outside of North America. In 44 Swiss League games, he scored 24 goals and put up 20 assists, the second most in the team, behind the other American forward, Cody Wydo (56 points).
