Whereas goalie Tim Bertsche, 20, has decided to hang up his skates, David Rattaggi will join EHC Basel in the MySports League. Where Bahar, Arnold, and Ryan will end up is not yet known.

On the other hand, the young defensemen Marcel Huber (19, HCT Young Lions) and Claude Schnetzer (19, EHC Kloten) join the team. Huber has signed a one-year contract, Schnetzer will stay for two years. In addition Sascha Figi, 21, who returns to Switzerland after playing college hockey for three years joins HCT on a two-year deal.

Moreover, HC Thurgau is in discussions about contract extensions with defenseman Sami El Assaoui and import-forward Cody Wydo, who has reportedly also drawn interest from the DEL.
