Still under contract with SC Langenthal for another year, Rytz and the club decided to put an end to their agreement, which made it possible for the defender to join EHC Olten. He will remain with his new team for two years.

In his three seasons with Langenthal, the 34-year-old won two Swiss League championships. In 2010 he also won the title in Switzerland's top league with SC Bern. So far in his career, Rytz suited up 552 times in the National and 275 times in the Swiss League for EHC Biel, Genève-Servette HC, HC Fribourg-Gottéron, the SCL Tigers, Lausanne HC, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, HC Sierre, the HC Neuchâtel Young Sprinters, as well as the already mentioned Bern and Langenthal.
