The 27-year-old forward has agreed to a one-year contract, valid until the end of the 2019-20 season.

SC Langenthal has found their first import player

Benik played in the NCAA, the AHL and the ECHL before coming to Europe in 2017. Since then, he recorded 59 goals and 63 assists in 108 games for Norwegian team Lillehammer.

Also, according to team manager Kevin Schläpfer, SC Langenthal is currently in negotiations with another import player. The Swiss League team will start into the new season with a new import duo as both Jeff Campbell and Brent Kelly retired from professional hockey.
