The 31-year-old will succeed Patrick Bloch who is set to join the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation in August.

HC Thurgau has found their new CEO

Büsser joins HC Thurgau from the SIHF, where he served as a manager for the junior national teams last season. He will start his new job on June 15. Bloch will leave the Swiss League team at the end of July.

Büsser will not only serve as HCT's CEO, but he will also be the head of their sports commission. He will also be in charge of their finances. The former forward ended his playing career in 2013. From 2013 to 2018, he worked as an assistant coach for EHC Winterthur (2013-2017) and as a scout for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers (2017-2018).
