According to Watson, SC Langenthal is close to signing a deal with the former forward, who will replace Per Hånberg.

Jeff Campbell: from player to coach.

Assistant team manager Marc Eichmann confirms: "The contract has not yet been signed. But we agree verbally and it's going well. Our previous assistant Jeff Campbell will be our new coach." As team manager Kevin Schläpfer reveals, "Jeff Campbell has so much respect among the players and is such a strong personality that we trust him to lead the team as coach."

During the 2018-19 season, due to an injury, Campbell supported former head coach Per Hånberg as assistant coach. As a matter of fact, the 38-year-old already has a contract as an assistant for the next season. However, now that Hånberg left Langenthal for Kloten, the Canadian might be promoted to head coach.
