The 37-year-old forward with an experience of more than 900 games in the National League will play for EHC Winterthur next season.

"We are very happy that Thibaut will reinforce our team and pass on his great experience to the young players," head coach Michel Zeiter says. In an interview with Der Landbote, Zeiter adds: "For us, this is a good transfer that makes sense and is within our financial possibilities."

Most recently, Monnet suited up for EHC Kloten in the Swiss League. In 48 games (including playoffs) in the past season, he recorded a total of 30 points (18 goals).

Over the course of his career, the veteran player suited up for the ZSC Lions, SC Bern and HC Ambrì-Piotta, among others. In a total of 932 games in the National League, the two-time Swiss Champion recorded 599 points (275 goals).
