The 30-year-old defenseman has signed a three-year contract with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds after dissolving his contract with Rapperswil.

Has dissolved his contract with Rapperswil: Frédéric Iglesias.

Frédéric Iglesias' contract with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers would have been valid for another season, but, as the Rosenstädter announce, they have mutually agreed on dissolving their contract and let Iglesias leave in direction of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. The 30-year-old will join his new team in August.

HCC's team manager Loïc Burkhalter praises his new acquisition: "He's a complete player with a strong personality on and off the ice, I expect him to have a leading role in our team," he says.

Frédéric Iglesias is a two-time Spengler Cup winner with Genève-Servette HC (2013 and 2014). In 2018, he helped the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers to get promoted to the National League. In the same season, he also won the Swiss Cup with Rapperswil.
