The 23-year-old Heinimann already played for HC Sierre in the past season, on loan from Genève-Servette HC. Now, he will stay with the Sonnenstädter for at least one more season, as he has signed a contract until 2020. Last season, Heinimann appeared in 33 games for Sierre, in which he recorded 32 points (15 goals).

With Leo Agrusti, a homegrown talent returns to Sierre. The 20-year-old defenseman moved to Genève-Servette HC in 2014, where he played for their junior teams, celebrating the championship title with their Elite-A in 2018 and 2019. Just like Heinimann, Agrusti has signed a one-year contract.
