According to a report from HeShootsHeScoores, the young goaltender will no longer be part of the HCB Ticino Rockets.

Connor Hughes: Off to Langenthal?

Hughes' contract in the Ticino, which expired at the end of the past season, included an option for another season. HC Ambrì-Piotta, however, did not make use of this option and is no longer planning with the 22-year-old.

Instead, Hughes is going to join SC Langenthal, the same source reports. In the Oberaargau, he is supposed to form a goalie-duo with Philip Wüthrich, who is playing on loan with SCL from SC Bern. There is, however, no official confirmation yet.

Over the course of the past season, Connor Hughes appeared in 25 regular season games with the Rockets, in which he posted a 4.06 goals against average and a save percentage of 89.32%.
