20 minuti reported a week ago that HC Ambrì-Piotta was interested in the 31-year-old, albeit for their farm team, the Ticino Rockets. While Clark will now definitely join a Swiss League team, it will not be the Biasca-based team.

With the signing of Andrew Clark, SC Langenthal has found his second import player for the 2019-20 season, Joey Benik being the other one. "It was important for us to sign an import player who plays center, is good at winning faceoffs, and knows Swiss ice hockey," team manager Kevin Schläpfer states.

Clark finished last season as the leading scorer of the EBEL. In 52 games for HC Innsbruck, he recorded 20 goals and 49 assists.
