Having spent most of the season so far with the main squad, the young defenseman has landed a professional deal.

Kälin , a product of EHC Kloten's youth department, has made his first steps in the Swiss League this season. After eleven games, the club has awarded the 19-year-old his first professional contract.

"Laurent has done a very good job so far and has worked very hard. He earned himself his first professional contract. Now it is up to us to continue the positive development of Laurent", Kloten's team manager Felix Hollenstein comments.
