The Austrian forward has put his signature under a contract, which keeps him with HC Thurgau until the end of the season.

Thurgau welcomes Patrick Spannring.

A couple of days ago, Patrick Spannring announced in the "Servus Hockey Night" that he is going to continue his career in Switzerland. As it turns out, the 29-year-old, who is in possession of a Swiss player's license, is going to join Stefan Mair's team at the beginning of 2020 and stay there at least until summer.

Since 2011, Spannring has been a regular in Austria's Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (EBEL). This season, he wore the jersey of the Villacher SV, for which he recorded four assists in 29 games.
