The former forward is currently serving both as head coach and team manager.

Loïc Burkhalter

"I have no plans to stay on as a coach next season," Loïc Burkhalter tells Arcinfo. The double role requires a lot of him and he will - in all likeliness - not be behind the bench for another season.

It is also an entirely different mindset, as he discloses to the same source: "When I'm in the locker room, I'm the coach. When I'm in my office, I'm a team manager. A coach reacts to emotions. The team manager must ignore emotions. ”

As for the team manager side of his job, discussions are well underway with certain players. Apparently, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds is also in talks with Simon Sterchi, the 25-year-old forward of SC Langenthal. Sterchi already played for HCC from 2016 to 2018. This season, he has recorded 15 goals and 20 assists in 33 games.
