Although it is not yet official, it is a done deal, the Walliser Bote reports: Tomas Dolana will suit up for HC Sierre next season.

Tomas Dolana moves to Sierre

One month ago, Dolana's agent Juho Sintonen already confirmed to swisshockeynews.ch that his client is definitely going to leave EHC Visp after twelve seasons. As the Walliser Bote reports, it is now also clear that the 34-year-old forward remains in the Valais and moves to HC Sierre as of next season.

As an official confirmation is still missing, also the details of the agreements are not yet clear. As Visp's team manager Sébastien Pico explained to Le Nouvelliste before Christmas, they were not willing to offer Dolana more than a one-year extension. It seems thus likely that he will receive a longer term in Sierre.

At this point of the season, Tomas Dolana is on eleventh place of the Swiss League's overall scoring list. In 39 games for Visp so far, he has put up 45 points (ten goals).
