Tomas Dolana will leave Visp after the season. That much is sure. The forward is rumored to join HC Sierre, but Alain Bonnet has only this to say for now: "Nothing is official, there is no signature." He does, however, admit that Dolana would fit the profile of the player they are looking for.

As for the rest of the team, apart from goaltender Remo Giovannini, who has signed a new three-year deal, they will all be at the end of their contracts at the end of the season. Negotiations have started at the end of December.

Bonnet also discloses that they are happy with their import-players Eric Castonguay and Guillaume Asselin and they are willing to keep them another season. The same applies to Goran Bezina, if he decides to play another season.

As for the financial side of things, the team was able to sell 1,800 season tickets, 300 more than anticipated. They were also able to operate on a higher budget than originally thought: CHF 2.5 million.

Morover, HC Sierre is also thinking about a possible new arena. While nothing concrete is known yet, except for the plot it is supposed to be built on, the first meeting with the city council about it will take place at the end of January. It remains to be seen when the project will be realized, a lot of factors are still up in the air.
