Alain Birbaum

Birbaum, who has been a member of HC Ajoie since December 2017 after a short stint in France, has agreed to a two-year extension of his current deal, which would have run out at the end of this season.
Throughout his career, the 34-year-old defenseman has suited up a combined 925 times in the National and the Swiss League. His longest tenure was with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, where he was part of the main squad from 2002 until 2014.
