Whereas Patrick Spannring arrived in Switzerland from Austria's Villacher SV during the 2019-20 season, Patrick Brändli just finished his fourth consecutive season with HC Thurgau. As mentioned in the press release, the club secures the services of two important offensive elements and keeps on following the chosen path of continuity.
The 29-year-old Austrian, who holds a Swiss player's license, collected four points in 17 games in the Swiss League with the Lions. For his part, Brändli recorded twelve points in 43 games this season.
