One more year with HC Sierre for Goran Bezina

HC Sierre will be able to count on Goran Bezina until 2021, as the club announced today. Earlier this year, both sides already stated that they would be willing to continue their liaison, thus, this prolongation was to be expected.

A veteran of 877 National League games, the 40-year-old spent most of his career with Genève-Servette HC before moving down a league to join Sierre last summer. Bezina also suited up for HC Fribourg-Gottéron (at the start of his career), for the Springfield Falcons in the AHL (from 2001 until 2004, including three appearances for the Phoenix Coyotes) and for the KHL's Medveščak Zagreb (in 2016-17).
